Best 2 in 1 Prams

This elegant pram is simple to maneuver thanks to its luxurious fabrics, spacious basket and puncture-proof tires. It can be used right from birth because of the carrycot that is flat and lie-flat. It also works with a car safety seat.

It's unusual design takes time to get used to but it's easy once you master the one-hand fold. It's also simple to hoick on and off trains and buses.

1. Cybex Gazelle

The Cybex Gazelle is an extremely configurable stroller that can be incredibly flexible. It is able to adapt to the requirements of your family. It comes with more than 20 options that let you use it in single or twin mode from birth. The car seat adaptors are integrated into the frame meaning you don't need to purchase a separate baby seat. This makes it easy to convert it from a mono stroller to a twin one. It also comes with a huge shopping basket that allows you to easily carry all the things you need for both kids.

The seats are comfortable and can be reclined almost flat. This allows your toddler to nap comfortably. The canopy comes with two height settings, and plenty of room for your child's hood. It is also light and compact making it easy to maneuver in tight spaces like hallways. The wheels are sturdy and puncture-proof, and the handlebar can be adjusted to different sizes so that you can drive comfortably regardless of whether you're short or tall.

The Gazelle comes with a variety of accessories, including a footmuff, cup holders, a snack tray and rain cover. The stroller itself is made of four stunning fabrics that compliment the sloping curves that define the frame and the taupe-tinted aluminum chassis. The sleek, elegant design is perfect for any parent.

The ease of using the Gazelle is one of its most appealing features. The directions are clearly laid out on a handy leaflet in the base of the basket, and the car seat adaptors are colour coded for clarity. It also has a vast variety of seating configurations, making it suitable for families with children from the age of birth to preschool. It can also be used as a twin stroller by buying an additional unit. It is compatible with numerous Cybex infant car seat models. The only downside to this stroller is the price. However, you are paying for quality and flexibility.

2. Maclaren Techno

With the Maclaren Techno, parents can enjoy a pram with supreme comfort and compact design. It has a fully-reclining seat and a leg rest that extends and a head hugger to ensure babies are at ease on long journeys. A fully-coverage sun visor and hood that covers the entire area will shield your child from the elements.  2 in 1 stroller and car seat  for parents, with its cup holders and storage compartments is a convenient space to store the essentials. Safety features include the linked foot-operated breaks and lockable swivel wheel.

The Techno's handlebars can be adjusted in height for taller parents and have smooth, satin-like finishes to feel comfortable against the skin. The chassis is lightweight, compact and easy to store and transport. This is especially useful when you travel by public transportation or putting it in your car's boot. The sleek design makes it easier to push through uneven surfaces. The rear-facing seat with a reversible footrest, as well as the streamlined profile make it easy to reach the door of a shop.

Another great aspect of the Maclaren is its quick and easy fold. It's a bit slower than the average in this category, but it only takes one hand to open and close. It's also a small pram when closed, making it a breeze to fit into tight spaces.

This model is not recommended for newborns. However it is suitable for children 3 months and older. You can buy one of Maclaren's lightweight umbrella strollers if you need a pram for your child at this stage. It's an excellent choice for older children and babies, as they will be content to lay down on the seat, either at home or on the road.

If you're looking for a perfect blend of practicality and style, this two-in-one stroller is the best. Its sleek, modern design is stylish and its top-quality materials will be able to withstand everyday use and abuse. Additionally, it's aft enough that you can add a carrycot or car seat to make it a travel system when your baby is ready.  2 in 1 stroller with car seat  with two wheels like this one will allow you to adapt to the unpredictable nature of your day.

3. M&P Pramette

The M&P Pramette is a fantastic pram/pushchair combo for new parents and families with two kids. It includes a carrycot that's suitable for sleeping at night and easily converts into a double pushchair when the time is right. It's not the cheapest option but its gorgeous design and features make it worth the money.

Claire found this pram very easy to maneuver on various terrain and in confined spaces like narrow shop aisles. The swivel wheels helped her steer it with precision. Its compact folding size makes it easy to store at home. The huge air-filled tyres guarantee an enjoyable ride and are able of handling off-road surfaces too. The hood can be pulled down right to the baby's feet for sun protection or a comfortable sleep and is very simple to use.

The reversible unit is another fantastic feature, since it lets you change the direction in which your child faces. The reclining seat gives both back and head support, so your child can take a peaceful nap in their seat or carrycot. Claire also loved the spacious shopping basket that can be accessed from the seat or carrycot unit in all positions and can accommodate a large amount of nappies and a change bag!

The XploryX premium pram is available from Stokke. It is suitable for babies as young as birth. It comes with the chassis, a seat for the pushchair and a lie-flat carrycot, however other accessories such as the rain cover will need to be purchased separately. It's an excellent choice for those who love the look of a modern Scandinavian-designed pram with a unique and functional frame that lets you interact closely with your baby.

This sweet doll pram from Mamas & Papas is perfect to help develop role-playing skills and fostering imagination. Its realistic features include an under-seat shopping basket, a rainhood that can be removed and a matching changing bag. It's great for cruising around the house or taking a stroll in the park! This would be a wonderful addition to any child's collection of toys and also a thoughtful gift for Christmas or birthdays.

4. Thule Shine

Thule is a brand that's famous for its unique and practical products and the Shine stroller is no different. It's one of the lightest strollers on market and feels solid and sturdy to hold despite its simple design. It's also extremely versatile and can be used as a bassinet, or Newborn Inlay from birth, as well as a Maxi Cosi car adapter.

Unlike some other lightweight prams that are lighter, the Shine will not let you down when it comes to cargo storage, either. Its 22-pound capacity allows you to carry everything you require for a day of travel without feeling like you have to leave everything behind.

It's also easy to assemble and the back wheels securing to the main frame straight out of the box. The bassinet is easy to attach and has handles that are similar to those of a Moses basket. When you're done, the pram folds down to an elegant and compact size, allowing you to fit it into the smallest car.

Thule's air purifier canopy is a highlight as well, with an inbuilt fan that purifies the air you breathe, removing pollen, bacteria, viruses, and other nasty contaminants. The company claims it can clean up 150 liters of air every minute and connects to an app that displays your local air quality.

The only drawback is the price. Even though it is less than some other 2 in 1 prams it still costs more than PS1,000 for the full kit. This is especially difficult to accept when there are other options like the Thule Spring that is smaller and lighter and costs half as much.

The durability of Thule's strollers is legendary, and I've seen them tested at the Thule Hillerstop headquarters in Sweden. To test the strength and quality of their prams, they drop them from heights and then crash them down slopes. They also run on a bumpy path in the snow. They certainly come out looking great!
